LEARN FROM NATURE

for ages 5 - 15

We encourage children (or everyone!) to get inspiration from nature. We have designed a workshop that involves sketching and noting down what they find beautiful from the garden, and create a piece of your choice inspired by it! 

In this workshop, students will be able to:

- Practice awareness, observing their surroundings and paying attention to detail whilst looking for inspiration. 

- Learn how to develop their ideas into designs.

- Be with nature, rather than playing on digital platforms. 

- Learn about different kinds of plants and natural materials that we take for granted! 

4 hours session 

You can either finish the whole piece in one session (paint on wet clay), or finish within 2 sessions (come back and paint another day after piece has been fired first round)

Workshop structure: 

1. Collecting inspiration from the garden by sketching, note taking and/or taking photos. 

2. Design your pieces with collected inspiration. 

3. Make your pieces.
